Apple adds exercises for new mothers to Fitness .. Know how?

Apple continues to expand its Fitness+ workout video service with more content that caters to people with different needs and lifestyles, according to an engadged report.

Today, the company is adding seven ten-minute videos for new parents, in a series called Get Fit After Having a Baby. The activities are a mix of core, strength, and “mind calming” exercises offered by Apple and led by Fitness + coach Betina Gozo, a new mom. .

And like other videos on the service, the new workouts also feature modding instructions for those who want a bigger challenge or prefer to go slow.

Mindful cool-downs offer stretches that target tight spots common after pregnancy, while core sessions also include pelvic floor exercises.

Of course, new parents should feel no pressure to “get back in shape” on any schedule other than what they are comfortable with.

In a video provided by Apple of the new content, Gozo explains that viewers should take things at their own pace, and make sure they get the green light from a healthcare provider before engaging in strenuous activity.

The new workouts are available at Fitness+ starting today, and as a reminder, they cost $10 a month and you’ll need an Apple Watch to use the service.
