In addition to announcing the launch date of the Vision ProApple also released some more information yesterday about the content that will be available for its mixed reality (AR/VR) headset.

It was already known, for example, that the Vision Pro will support 3D movie playback since the tvOS 17.2 beta. Yesterday, however, Apple finally gave more exact numbers: according to the company, users will be able to enjoy more than 150 titles compatible with the format at the launch of the device.

The headset, of course, also supports the playback of 2D content. According to Maçã, it will be possible to “watch films and series from Apple TV+, Disney+, Max and other services on a 100-foot (approximately 30 meters) wide screen with support for HDR content”.

In addition to immersive films and series, the Vision Pro will also feature what Apple is calling “space games”, which take advantage of the device’s capabilities to transform the space around the player. Apple Arcade games that support this feature include titles like Game Room, What the Golf? e Super Fruit Ninja.

As said yesterday, the Apple Vision Pro will hit stores on February 2nd, only in the United States. Anyone who wants to secure their headset in advance can purchase it during the pre-sale, which will start on 1/19.
