Experts at Harvard University revealed that apple cider vinegar may be the best drink for weight loss, as it can be eaten in small quantities or obtained as a dietary supplement.

Experts pointed out that the high levels of acetic acid found in apple cider vinegar, or perhaps other compounds, are responsible for its health benefits in obtaining a slender body, according to the “Harvard. Health” website.

Although recommendations vary regarding the dose of apple cider vinegar that can be taken, most are in the range of 1-2 teaspoons before or with meals throughout the day.

Studies on obese rats confirmed that acetic acid can prevent fat deposition and improve metabolism.

An experiment was conducted in 2009 on 175 people who drank a drink containing 1 or 2 tablespoons of vinegar every day.

After 3 months, those who took apple cider vinegar had lost 2 to 4 pounds of weight, along with a loss of triglycerides, compared to those who did not drink apple cider vinegar.

It turns out that apple cider vinegar enhances the feeling of fullness following eating, but it causes nausea and discomfort at times.

Apple cider vinegar also helps lower blood sugar levels following each meal by changing how foods are absorbed from the intestines, and also acts as an antibiotic to detoxify the body.

The researchers drew attention to the fact that relying on apple cider vinegar alone will not help to lose weight, but this must be done within a healthy and balanced diet, in addition to regular exercise.
