After releasing the first beta of iOS 17.2, Apple confirmed that the software should fix a bug in Wi-Fi on all iPhones which have been updated to iOS 17.1.

According to the Cupertino company, this problem was reported by several users in the feedback channels. Therefore, it was corrected in the first beta of this version.

Apple’s support channel told iClarified:

As a result of your feedback, there are software changes in the latest update, build 21C5029g, that have fixed this issue. You can see the software build running on your device and check for the latest update by tapping Settings > General > Software Update.

According to reports from several users, after the arrival of iOS 17, many iPhones began to experience rapid disconnections from the Wi-Fi network, and in some cases the device experienced slow navigation.

The list of iPhones that face this Wi-Fi problem includes everything from the latest members of the iPhone 15 line to older models, such as the iPhone 12.

For now, iOS 17.2 is still undergoing internal testing and the stable version will most likely only be released in December. Therefore, until then, users must continue to deal with this annoying bug.
