Apple expands revamped Maps to Finland, Norway and Sweden

A Apple today announced yet another expansion for its app Maps. More specifically, the revamped platform design is coming to three new countries. Are they: Finland, Norway e Sweden.

Since 2018, when it announced the news, Apple has taken a more detailed experience to the app’s maps. Features include improved navigation, three-dimensional pictures of specific points (mainly landmarks), among others.

Another great new feature coming to these countries is the feature Look around (Look Around), which is a kind of Street View from Apple. It allows you to see the streets more closely and navigate between them with real images.

Also available is the Flyoverwhich shows immersive and realistic 3D views of selected metropolitan areas, when looking from above and exploring the city from different angles.

And not only that: navigation has also been improved. A Siri gained a natural language, making its instructions easier to understand and follow. And navigation now shows immersive instructions in augmented reality.

So far, this Maps refresh has also landed in the following locations: Germany, Australia, Canada, Spain, France, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Portugal, United Kingdom, and Singapore.
