Apple expert predicts: Popular iPhone model should be on the verge of extinction

According to an industry insider, Apple has big plans for the next generation of iPhones. This also includes the end of a model.

Apple is expected to launch the 14th generation of iPhones next fall. As industry insider Ming-Chi Kuo now on Twitter announced that there will no longer be an iPhone mini. Instead, it aims to present a new version of the regular iPhone with a larger screen.

According to the report, Apple will offer the following models:

  • iPhone 14; Screen size: 6.1 inch
  • iPhone 14 Max; Screen size: 6.7 inches
  • iPhone 14 Pro; Screen size: 6.1 inch
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max; Screen size: 6.7 inches

In another Tweet Kuo talks about the inner workings of the new iPhones. The A15 chip should therefore be installed again in the two standard models. The two Pro models, on the other hand, receive the new A16. All four devices get six gigabytes of RAM.

Kuo is considered a very well-informed Apple connoisseur. Nevertheless, these reports should be treated with caution. In the past, only part of his forecasts were correct. Nevertheless, he always has information that later turns out to be true.
