Apple Fitness+ added more meditation modalities and a training program with golfer, Rose Zhang, for users of the exclusive physical and mental training platform.

People will be able to access a new sound meditation theme, as well as a specialized strength, core and yoga program for golfers that will feature the athlete’s participation.

In addition, the Artist Spotlight series will be presented in tribute to the Apple Music Super Bowl LVIII halftime show starring USHER, and episodes of Time to Walk will be introduced to Apple Podcasts.

The Fitness+ service will include seven new sound meditations in 5, 10 and 20 minute formats, with weekly delivery.

These sessions will combine light guidance from Fitness+ trainers with relaxing sounds such as singing bowls and gongs, with the goal of creating an environment conducive to relaxation and restoration.

Calm, Gratitude, Sleep, Resilience, Creativity, Sound, are some of the ways for anyone to relax and recover from routine activities.

These programs alternate with professional trainers and a combination of relaxing tones and rhythms, such as the serene sound of singing bowls and the deep tone of gongs, which creates a feeling of calm.

The Strength, Core, and Yoga for Golfers exercise program is designed to improve golfers’ strength, balance, flexibility and mobility.

The Artist Spotlight series will offer full playlists dedicated to iconic artists each week leading up to Super Bowl LVIII, starting with USHER.

For its part, Time to Walk will feature guests such as Al Roker, Trixie Mattel, Lilly Singh, Common and Colman Domingo, who will share stories, photos and music. Some episodes of Time to Walk will be available on Apple Podcasts allowing you to access them, even without a Fitness+ subscription.

The Apple Fitness+ service added new programs aimed at women who have just given birth or are pregnant.

Within the menu of alternatives there are obstetrics and gynecology medical advice that supports the training, although it is important to clarify that medical support is relevant.

These adapted exercises are part of the “Stay active during pregnancy” collection and have been designed by female athletes and trainers who recently became mothers.

The material is aimed at both women who have had a natural birth and those who have undergone a cesarean section, and they offer different intensities depending on the activity levels experienced during pregnancy.

The Fitness+ program for pregnant women consists of ten workouts aimed at helping women have “a healthy pregnancy and prepare for life with a baby,” the company said in a statement.
