Apple introduced new versions of the iPad

During the Let Loose online presentation, Apple presented new versions of its tablets – iPad Air and iPad Pro.

As noted, the 2024 iPad Air will come in two sizes – with 11-inch and 13-inch Liquid Retina screens. Both tablets are equipped with Apple’s M2 chip and will be available in four colors. The tablet will cost from $599 for the 11-inch model and $799 for the 13-inch model.

The gadgets are equipped with main and front cameras with a resolution of 12 MP each. The basic version of the tablet has 128 GB of built-in memory with a maximum capacity of up to 1 TB.

The new iPad Air models also received support for the second-generation Apple Pencil and Magic Keyboard, which were available only for the iPad Pro.

Of iPad Pro, it will also come in two sizes – 11 and 13 inches and will have two colors. The tablets are equipped with an M4 chip, which should increase performance, and have an OLED display. Apple notes that the iPad Pro is Apple’s thinnest product. The thickness of the 11-inch device is 5.3 mm, and the 13-inch device is 5.1 mm.

The base memory for both models is now 256 GB and will reach 1 TB.

The cost of the new iPad Pro starts at $999 for the 11-inch model and from $1299 for the 13-inch model.

As reported by Ukrinform, the American Apple announced that the board of directors of the company authorized the buyback of shares in the amount of 110 billion dollars, which is 22% more than last year’s authorization for the buyback of shares in the amount of 90 billion dollars.
