Apple is reportedly working on a new touchscreen Mac

(Belga) Apple plans to equip its Mac computers with a touch screen, the Bloomberg news agency reported on Wednesday. This would be a major turning point for the company, with co-founder Steve Jobs once declaring the technology “ergonomically terrible”.

Bloomberg has learned from a good source that the American company’s engineers are actively working on the project, a sign that touchscreen Macs are being seriously considered. However, this has not yet been confirmed. Apple declined to comment. Apple has been saying for over a decade that a touchscreen doesn’t lend itself to laptops and that an iPad is a better option for those who want this technology. An opinion that Apple’s competitors do not necessarily share, many of them having launched touch screen computers. (Belga)
