Apple moves to revive iPhone 13 sales

In a move that some interpreted as a response by Apple to the “pink screen” defect, the American giant began an intense promotion campaign to increase sales of the iPhone 13, which it introduced several months ago.

Several users reported a problem with the new iPhone 13 phones, where their phone screens randomly appeared pink when using it, making it impossible to use the phone without restarting it.

The giant American company published more than one new promotional advertisement for the phone through its official YouTube channel, and focused on a number of strengths in the new phone.

And Apple highlighted through the new promotional ads for the phone on some of its features, the durability of the Ceramic Shield glass and the longer battery life.

And before the iPhone 13, the iPhone 12 was the first iPhone to have a Glass Ceramic Shield, which is made of nanoceramic crystals to make it more resistant to accidental damage.

So it was expected that Apple would renew the promotional campaign for the iPhone 13, as it also features a durable ceramic glass.

The first teaser was a short film that was released on the company’s YouTube channel, Run Baby Run.

new problem

At the same time, Chinese reports revealed a storm of complaints that emerged recently, talking about the problem of the appearance of the pink screen in the iPhone 13 (iPhone 13).

The pink screen issue also affects the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max phones.

Apple’s reply

And all this number of complaints called for an official response from the customer service of the American company, Apple, which produces the famous smartphone.

According to gizchina, customer complaints about the pink screen problem in iPhone 13 devices said that the problem could not be resolved by resetting the phone or updating the system.

Moreover, there have been complaints that the pink screen is accompanied by other uneven issues such as flickering (delay), flashback, auto restart and other problems.

For its part, Apple’s official customer service said that it “has not received relevant notifications that this is a problem with the device, but such a situation generally occurs in the event of a system hang.”

This statement indicates that Apple tacitly agrees that the problem is software.

According to gizchina, Apple suggested users should back up their data and upgrade to the latest operating system.

pink screen

However, judging by the images posted by several netizens, when the pink screen appears on the iPhone 13, it does not fill the screen but the system status bar icons and other information remain on the screen.

There is a high possibility that a bug in the operating system software is the reason behind this problem, and it is possible that Apple will solve the problem with an update that will be released soon.

Unfortunately, Apple did not say when the update will be released. However, the iOS 15.3 update is currently in testing and will include a fix for a Safari vulnerability.

But can’t tell if the update will take care of the pink screen issue.

And one of the users, in a forum for Apple users, posted that his iPhone 13 Pro screen had turned pink and started crashing randomly, according to 9to5mac.
