Apple today (23) released the latestmaintenance proposaladmitted that some Apple Watch Series 6 may have the problem of black screen, and will provide consumers with free maintenance.
The latest official announcement pointed out that the 40mm Apple Watch Series 6 with a manufacturing date between April 2021 and September 2021 may have a permanently black screen, and Apple will provide official free repairs. Users can open “Settings” > “General” > “About This Device” on Apple Watch, find the serial number or IMEI, and go to the official to confirm whether they are eligible.

This plan will not extend the warranty coverage of the Apple Watch, and will cover eligible Apple Watch Series 6 products sold for 2 years. Consumers can make an appointment at an Apple store or an authorized repair center.
