Users who are still on iOS/iPadOS 16 (by choice or not) can now update their devices to the iOS 16.7.1 (compilation 20H30) and the iPadOS 16.7.1 (idem), which were released today by Apple.
According to changelogupdates bring security fixes and improvements, and are therefore recommended for everyone.
The updates certainly resolve the same loopholes that were fixed with iOS/iPadOS 17.0.3, released last week.
For those on iOS 17, especially those testing iOS 17.1 and other systems, it is worth noting that a new testing cycle started today.
