Apple releases macOS Ventura 13.2 Beta 1

Anyone who thought that Apple’s developers would slow down towards the end of the year was wrong. Yesterday the final version of macOS Ventura 13.1 was released and today the macOS Ventura 13.2 Beta 1 was released.

The iOS 16.3 beta for developers is also here. With macOS Ventura 13.1, Apple introduced improved encryption for many iCloud content, but initially only in the US. By the turn of the year, end-to-end encryption should also be usable in Germany. The Freeform app was also launched with the update. This is a whiteboard solution that can be used not only from macOS but also from iOS and iPadOS. It’s free.

What Apple has built into macOS Ventura 13.2 Beta 1 and iOS 16.3 Beta 1 in terms of new features is not yet known because Apple has not published any release notes.

Apple still owes users a lot from unveiling macOS Ventura at WWDC 2022. The Apple Pay Later financing option and the security key that can be managed with the Apple ID are still missing.

Developers who want to can download the new betas on registered computers, iPads or iPhones. This works via the software update if a beta profile was first installed.
