It’s been a tough year for Apple. After two exceptional years linked to the Covid pandemic and the rise of remote working, laptop sales have collapsed around the world. The Californian company is particularly suffering from this. For the moment, the trend does not seem ready to stop: in the last quarter, Mac sales amounted to only 7.6 billion dollars, compared to 11.5 billion a year earlier.

Sales of Apple products have been declining for several quarters. Its revenues over the past year stood at $383 billion, compared to $394 billion the previous year. That’s a drop of 2.8%. And its profits have declined in the same proportion. In one year, Apple generated $97 billion in net profit, compared to $99.8 billion the year before.
