Just over a year ago, information emerged about the construction of a new Apple store in Miami Worldcenterthe 27-acre mega-development in the center of one of the main cities in the American state of Florida.
Now, according to a new report from Commercial Observer, the plans have not only been confirmed, but have been underway since November last year. According to the article, the store is expected to open next year.
The development is located on a plot of land 1,728 square meters and is valued at US$12 million.
Initially, it was rumored that the store was the largest in the world, but that doesn’t appear to be the case — the store is nowhere near as large as Apple Mall of the Emirateswhich occupies more than 4,600 square meters.
The new Apple Store is expected to join other retail giants (such as Sephora, Lululemon and Ray-Ban) in the Miami Worldcenter, which spans several blocks in the Park West neighborhood, and is expected to open by 2025.
