Just over a year after announcing the third season of “Acapulco”o Apple TV+ released the trailer of the next chapters of the comedy series starring and produced by Eugenio Derbez.
In season three, Maximo realizes it’s time to reconcile past mistakes and exciting new beginnings. In the present timeline, the older version of Maximo (Derbez) returns to Las Colinas. Meanwhile, in 1985, young Maximo (Enrique Arrizon) continues his climb up the ladder of success while putting all the relationships he’s worked so hard to build at risk.

In addition to Derbez and Arrizon, the cast of the new season includes the recurring Fernando Carsa, Damian Alcazar, Camila Perez, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrian, Regina Orozco e Carlos Coronain addition to the guests Jaime Camil e Cristo Fernandez.
In addition to starring in the series, Derbez serves as executive producer alongside Ben Odell. The series is created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros e Jason Shuman. Already Sam Laybourne acts as showrunner and executive producer.
The third season of “Acapulco” will debut on the day May 1st with the first two episodes — followed by new weekly releases, always on Wednesdays.
