Apple TV to Host First-Ever Hall H Panel at San Diego Comic-Con

Apple TV is taking over San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H for the first time on July 25. The tech giant is hosting a two-hour panel featuring stars from Widow’s Bay, Silo, Dark Matter, Mayday, and Matchbox The Movie during the convention.

After skipping the 2025 show, Apple is returning. By taking the Hall H slot, Apple’s event will come before a major Marvel Studios presentation.

The timing is from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on July 25.

The Content Stack: From Emmy Dominance to Sci-Fi Scaling

The centerpiece of the event is Widow’s Bay. While Apple has kept the specific panelist list under wraps, the show enters Hall H with 19 Emmy nominations.

Then there is Silo. The production is establishing “A Silo Experience” at The Lot from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26. The Silo panel will feature a roster: Rebecca Ferguson, Common, Tim Robbins, Ashley Zukerman, Jessica Henwick, Alexandria Riley, and Graham Yost.

The slate is rounded out by:

  • Dark Matter: A sneak preview of Season 2 is scheduled for Friday, July 24, with panelists including author Blake Crouch, Matt Tolmach, Jacquelyn Ben-Zekry, and actors Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly.
  • Matchbox The Movie: Featuring John Cena, Jessica Biel, and Arturo Castro.
  • Mayday: Discussed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

Josh Horowitz from the Happy, Sad, Confused podcast will moderate the panels.

The Logistics of the Hall H Takeover

For those tracking the Comic-Con timeline, the schedule is dense. The event takes place from July 23 to July 26, with a preview night on July 22.

The 30-Second Verdict: Apple is treating the Comic-Con as a “Product Launch” for its content. By skipping 2025 and returning with a multi-show Hall H takeover, they are attempting to shift the narrative from “Apple has a few good shows” to “Apple is the new home of the blockbuster.”
