Amid WWDC23a Apple updated this week Yours App Store Review Guidelinesin order to address issues related to inappropriate , imitation of popular apps in the store, and Safari extensions.
Now, the company considers the “misrepresentation” of an app a violation of App Store rules, which can culminate in the removal of the developer from the program.
