According to iPhoneSoftinitial tests of the Apple Vision Pro indicate that the device could be equipped with impressive 1TB internal storage; according to the French website, the information would have been seen in the adjustments of the visionOS.

This revelation corroborates the idea that the mixed reality (AR/VR) headset will require a considerable amount of space, especially considering the focus on 3D interactive content and the potential for high-resolution media.

In June, it’s worth remembering, Apple positioned the Vision Pro not just as an accessory, but as a standalone computer, powered by the M2 chip. This promises significant computing power for an immersive and fluid experience.

However, as with any early discoveries of the developer versions, there is a possibility that the headset will vary in its specs. There is speculation about other storage options that Apple may introduce, such as 256GB for the “entry” model, 512GB or 1TB for a more expensive price, which is not something completely unthinkable.

Given that the MacBook Air equipped with the very same chipset has versions with up to 2TB, it is possible and likely that we will see the Vision Pro with storage capacities greater than 1TB.

Despite these speculations, Apple has remained tight-lipped about the full details of the Vision Pro. The only things it has confirmed is its (initial?) US$3.500its battery with autonomy of up to 2 hours and its launch, scheduled for the beginning of 2024.
