Apple will pause sales of Apple Watches Series 9 and Ultra 2 in the US

2023-12-18 14:15:45

Apple announced today that it will stop sales of the Apple Watches Series 9 and Ultra 2 in the United States starting next Thursday (12/21).

To the 9to5Macthe company explained that this decision has to do with the imbroglio with Fields which, in 2021, it alleged to the US International Trade Commission (International Trade Commission or ITC) that Apple stole trade secrets and infringed patents on its pulse blood oximeter with the Apple Watch. This ban has to do with an order released by the ITC last October.

The watches will no longer be available, as stated, from 3pm (PT) this Thursday on the Maçã website. It will no longer be possible to find stock of the Cupertino giant’s latest watches in Apple Stores from 12/24 (Christmas Eve).
