For a brand new model of MacBook, you usually have to dig deep into your pocket. After all, Apple stands for premium quality and therefore also insists on premium prices – which is why the company is not popular with all consumers. But if you are a little patient, you can also wait for discounts and save a few hundred euros. At the new MacBook Air with M2 processor this is the case shortly after the market launch. While the RRP was 1,499 euros, the latest model of the ultra-thin laptop is from Apple now available for 1,279.90 euros. You save around 220 euros.
MacBook Air with M2 processor: What does the Apple laptop have to offer?
- Apples dünnster Laptop: The MacBook Air 2022 continues the tradition of being Apple’s thinnest and lightest notebook. It only weighs 1.24 kilograms.
- M2 processor: The most exciting component is the built-in M2 chip. The new MacBook Air is only the second Apple laptop to feature it. With this, the device works much faster, thanks to the larger memory. The laptop is particularly suitable for image processing.
- Very quiet laptop: Compared to the MacBook Pro, a more compact cooler is built in, which makes the MacBook Air work very quietly.

A lot of speed, a top screen and always silent: The MacBook Air 13 inch M2 is a great notebook to take with you everywhere. The new case is thinner and lighter than the previous models and brings a slightly larger and even better screen, which also offers more usable screen area. A nice touch are the two new colors (Midnight Blue and North Star) – they make the MacBook Air look even smarter. Apple can also pay for the whole thing well: The new Air costs significantly more than its predecessor. And as always with Apple, one point of criticism: upgrading after purchase is not possible, the surcharges for memory are hefty.
