Apple is facing strong demand from its customers for its new “Vision Pro” mixed reality glasses since it began being available for initial reservation in the United States a few days ago.
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst specializing in the affairs of the American company, reported that Apple was able to sell a huge quantity of Vision Pro glasses, ranging between 160 and 180 thousand units, before announcing through its official store that the available quantity had run out, with a shipping period ranging between 5 and 7 weeks.
Although initial reservation requests are high, expectations indicate that demand for the glasses will decline following they reach the first customers.
It is noted that the estimated shipping times did not change in the two days following the glasses being put up for initial reservation, which does not usually happen to other Apple devices such as iPhones, as demand continues to grow as the charging period gradually increases.
