Former Indonesian volleyball athlete Aprilio Perkasa Manganang officially married to his girlfriend Claudia Cvanrhyn, Saturday (10/12).
This certainty was obtained from the photos uploaded by Aprilio on his personal Instagram. Initially, Aprilio only uploaded a photo of himself wearing a blue suit with a white shirt.
“Blessed today,” wrote Aprilio Manganang in his upload at Sutan Raja Hotel, Minut, North Sulawesi, Saturday (10/12).
A day later, Aprilio Manganang uploaded a photo with his wife showing his wedding ring. Both of them looked happy and compatible.
Claudia herself wore a white long-sleeved dress wrapped in a white necklace. Happy smiles radiated from the faces of the bride and groom.
“Free,” wrote Aprilio Manganang while adding an emoji laughing until he cried.
Aprilio Manganang has a fairly unique life journey. He had lived his daily life as a woman until finally set his gender to be male in March 2021.
Previously, Aprilio was known as a female volleyball athlete with the name Aprilia Santini Manganang. Aprilio suffers from a medical disorder called hypospadias or genital shape which is often experienced by male babies at birth.
After undergoing sex surgery, Aprilia Manganang officially became a man and changed his name to Aprilio Perkasa Manganang during a trial that was held at the Tondano District Court, North Sulawesi, March 2021.
