The Executive Office of the Arabian Gulf Cup Football Federation decided during its meeting yesterday, in the Qatari capital, Doha, headed by Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, to confirm the holding of the “Gulf 26” tournament in the State of Kuwait during the period from 13 to 26 of next December, and to approve The Iraqi Football Federation as an alternative federation to the Kuwaiti Federation to organize the tournament.
During the meeting, new tournaments were also created and the issue was referred to the General Secretariat and the Competitions Committee, and a complete study was conducted and submitted to the Executive Office.
The Secretary-General of the UAE Football Association, Mohammed Al Dhaheri, participated in the meeting.
On the other hand, the Executive Office approved the appointment of Saeed Al-Houti as Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee of the Arabian Gulf Cup Federation, Hamad Al-Mazrouei as a member of the Referees Committee, and Mohammed Al-Dhaheri as a member of the Competitions Committee.
