Canadian player Arber Xhekaj signed a partnership with La Chambre – Microbrasserie Sportive which launched the smash burger to pay tribute to him. Getting involved in the community is important to Arber Xhekaj: for every hamburger sold, one dollar will be donated to two foundations. The first being Angel Project, from London, Ontario, where her mother volunteers. This organization provides help to thousands of complex care patients in the form of top-notch medical equipment. The second is the organization Vision Inter-Cultures which is located on the South Shore of Montreal which is dedicated to improving the lives of immigrant families, in memory of its parents who immigrated to Canada in the 1990s at the search for a better life.
The nickname “The Sheriff” was given to Arber Xhekaj when he played minor hockey, because he was always on the rescue to defend his teammates. In the photo, we see him preparing to eat the smash burger.
