Arbinger’s “Easter Miracle” brought in huge donations for earthquake victims

A call for donations in the past few weeks in the 1,550-inhabitant community of Arbing has triggered an echo that was hardly thought possible. Almost 13,000 euros were collected to give victims of the devastating earthquake in the border region of Syria and Turkey a humane new start. On Easter Sunday, a team from the Arbing parish symbolically presented the amount to Helga and Martin Buran, who have close relatives in the disaster area.
