According to the complainant, the famous colored candies contain titanium dioxide, a well-known toxin. He claims that people who eat Skittles have a high risk of having their DNA altered by the toxin.

According to lawsuit documents, Mars inc. would have been aware for years of the risks associated with its product.

In February 2016, the company publicly committed to removing titanium dioxide from Skittles. A promise that would never have been respected, says the complainant.

The latter believes that Mars inc. failed to inform its customers regarding the risks of consuming this toxin.
