The Mac’s big year continues. After the MacBook Pro and the Mac mini which went with arms and baggage to the M2 chips at the beginning of the year, Apple gave a fresh boost to the Mac Studio and launched a brand new model of MacBook Air. It was time to test it Kernel Panic.
To be honest, we ended up resigning ourselves and saying that Apple would never release a 15-inch MacBook Air. The rumor had been circulating for more than ten years! But thanks to WWDC, bim, the manufacturer has finally decided to launch with a new, relatively affordable, larger laptop without sacrificing performance.
And in the process, Apple also unveiled new Mac Studios when we weren’t really expecting them. Equipped with an M2 Max or M2 Ultra chip – a chip never before seen in the M2 range – these desktop computers have power to spare.
In this new episode of Kernel Panic, Florian and Nicolas will give us the test of these machines which deserve praise, but also a few scratches. Good listening !
