Argentina and Morocco are “working hand in hand” to consolidate their cooperative relations and strengthen trade, declared Argentina’s Undersecretary of Foreign Policy, Claudio Rozencwaig.
The two countries are engaged in a positive dynamic marked by an intensification of exchanges of high-level visits and a strengthening of political dialogue, underlined Rozencwaig during a farewell ceremony organized at the residence of Morocco on the occasion of his appointment as Argentine ambassador to the Czech Republic.
In a statement to MAP, the Argentine official emphasized the strong boost recorded in 2022 by trade between the two countries, which jumped by more than 48% and is expected to see positive developments over the course of 2022. of the next few years.
Rozencwaig, who chaired his country’s delegation to the 5th session of the Morocco-Argentina Political Consultations held in October 2022 in Rabat, welcomed the current state of bilateral relations on the political, cultural, economic and the legal framework.

For his part, the Moroccan Ambassador to Argentina, Fares Yassir, thanked the Argentine Undersecretary of State for the support provided by Rozencwaig to the diplomatic action of the Moroccan representation in Buenos Aires.
Throughout his mandate at the head of the foreign policy undersecretariat, added the Moroccan ambassador, Rozencwaig spared no effort to boost bilateral relations and to take advantage of the potential of the two countries.
The farewell ceremony in honor of the Argentine official took place Wednesday evening in the Moroccan residence in the presence of several members of the foreign diplomatic corps accredited in Buenos Aires, including the ambassadors of the United States, Japan, India, the United Arab Emirates, China, Spain, as well as senior officials from the Argentine Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Last June, Morocco and Argentina held the 7th meeting of the Joint Commission in Rabat, which was an opportunity to address numerous issues related to the development of bilateral trade and actions aimed at strengthening it.
