In the preview, it might have seemed that the team led by Fernando Gago would calmly win, but football always surprises us and just over 40 seconds passed from the initial whistle for San Martín to take the lead thanks to a mistake by Arias. However, Opazo appeared to celebrate his first goal and start the return to the scoreboard.

Only 42 seconds had elapsed since the start of the match, and the goalkeeper of the Chilean team had a ball control problem. That was taken advantage of by the rival players, who after pressing managed to open the scoring with a score by Óscar Chiquiano.
