Arkanoid – Eternal Battle is revealed in a new trailer

On the occasion of the Guerrilla Collective online event, Microids today unveiled the first gameplay images of the game Arkanoid – Eternal Battle through a trailer.

Developed by French studio game folder, the title will invite players to discover or rediscover the famous breakout game in a revisited and updated version. Slated for October 2022, the game will be released on PS5, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC consoles, and will feature a cross-play online multiplayer experience.

As a reminder, Arkanoid is a cult arcade game developed by Taito in 1986, in which the ARKANOID mothership is attacked. The small VAUS spacecraft manages to escape but finds itself imprisoned in another dimension. Wandering in an interdimensional labyrinth, VAUS must destroy blocks called “space walls” to escape and defeat “DOH”, the creator of this maze at the origin of the destruction of ARKANOID.

Arkanoid – Eternal Battle marks the great return of the iconic brick breaker in a modernized version full of surprises. This trailer notably introduces the four game modes of the title:
