Attempted robbery of a money transporter on Wednesday morning near Berlin – shots were fired!
On Wednesday morning at around 6.20 a.m. there was an attempted money transporter robbery on the Potsdam Drewitz motorway exit on the A115 in the direction of Berlin.
The robbers are said to have opened fire in the act! According to initial BZ information, the perpetrators tried to stop the vehicle with shots. However, the driver and passenger were able to escape in the van and alert the police.

Two burning cars were also found near the crime scene. A connection to the decay is being investigated by the police, a search for the perpetrators in the vicinity has not been successful so far.
Due to the operational measures, the driveway towards Berlin was closed in the morning.
