The Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, indicated, “We bid farewell to 2022 and bid farewell to all our pains and crises, and we receive 2023 and carry our hopes and wishes for it to be a year full of goodness, safety and reassurance for all the Lebanese, including the military who renew the pledge at the beginning of each year, that they will remain on their oath and will continue on their promise.” .
He pointed out that “all the best wishes are for our beloved country to restore its luster, health, and the regularity of its institutions, to restore its historical role, and its place in the hearts of its residents and expatriates.”
