Arnold Schwarzenegger is back in a new Netflix action series, “ FUBAR ».
Arnold Schwarzenegger returns to what he does best: blowing things up and throwing shocking aftershocks, in the trailer for FUBAR, Netflix’s upcoming action-comedy series which will air from May 25.
In the clip, Arnold Schwarzenegger, who plays secret CIA agent Luke Brunner, retires from special ops to spend more time with his family and, improbably, reunite with his ex-wife. But the CIA calls him back to save an agent in danger. But this agent is not just anyone: it is his daughter, Emma (Monica Barbaro, actress of Top Gun : Maverick).
The father-daughter team then bond on the pitch, discussing topics as varied as virginity (she’s 28, she reminds her dad) and the best way to cut bad guys’ throats so they bleed out faster. There’s also a scene where Schwarzenegger finds the vibrator hidden in his daughter’s lipstick. At the end, Schwarzenegger declares, naturally, that everything is “ totally FUBAR (acronym of military origin meaning ” fucked up beyond all recognition »).
