Leibnitz/Klagenfurt – Heavy thunderstorms and temporarily heavy rain caused problems on Tuesday morning, especially in southern Styria: According to Energie Steiermark, around 2,500 Styrian households were without electricity in the morning. About 50 transformer stations were not in operation. In addition to southern Styria, especially along the border with Slovenia, some stations at Präbichl (Leoben district) were also affected. In Carinthia, around 100 households were without electricity on Tuesday morning.
