Arrest Made in Pharmacy Burglary in Grez-Doiceau, Walloon Brabant

A man was arrested on Wednesday morning following committing a burglary in a duty pharmacy in Grez-Doiceau, said the Walloon Brabant prosecutor’s office.

A pharmacist on duty heard noise in the pharmacy located on chaussée de Wavre, in Grez-Doiceau, around 2:00 a.m. in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. He immediately alerted the police.

At the scene, officers apprehended a suspect. The man had emptied several cash drawers in the pharmacy found himself in possession of cash and rolls of coins.

The alleged burglar, a man born in 2004, of Moroccan nationality and without a known domicile in Belgium, was deprived of his liberty. An investigating judge was seized of the case and the issue of an arrest warrant was requested once morest the person concerned.
