In November 2021, The Anh and Nguyen found 7 people, all residing in Hai Duong province, to move to Cambodia to work. Both of them took care of testing for COVID-19, booked air tickets, paid for accommodation, travel from Cat Bi airport (Hai Phong) to Ho Chi Minh City and then to Phu Quoc and illegally crossed the border to Cambodia by sea ​​way.

After completing the work, the subjects were entitled to 33 million VND/time of successful illegal border crossing from a leader in the line in Tay Ninh province. The total amount of money The Anh and Nguyen benefited is VND 231 million, including advance costs (testing, travel, accommodation for people crossing the border).

After successfully crossing the border to Cambodia, a group of 7 workers had to work from 17-18 hours/day, paid only 200 USD/month and were often beaten and threatened… If they wanted to return, they had to pay ransom for their partner. head statue.

Some people were rescued by the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia in collaboration with local authorities and brought back to their homeland through the border gates of Ha Tien (Kien Giang) and Moc Bai (Tay Ninh).

After successfully returning to their hometown, this group of people went to the police station to denounce the criminal acts of the subjects.
