“Arrest Warrant Issued for Murder Suspects in Saint-Nicolas Case”

The two suspects were presented on Saturday to an investigating judge who placed them under arrest warrant.

They are aged 33 and 36 and were arrested on Thursday. It was a week earlier, on May 17, that local police had found the victim’s lifeless body in a house in Saint-Nicolas, after a colleague had noticed his absence from work. The first findings pointed to an unnatural death. An investigating judge was therefore appointed.

One of the suspects is an acquaintance of the deceased. The facts are not yet clear but the investigating judge has placed the two people arrested under an arrest warrant for suspicion of theft with murder.
