The 25-year-old woman is being held at the Police Coordination Center (CCP) Caura.
In the Mini Farms sector, Unare parish, the Municipal Police of Caroní arrested a citizen for alleged complicity in the theft of household appliances.
While they were carrying out patrol tasks, officials were alerted by another person about the presence of some stolen appliances in a residence in the sector.
The commission went to the address provided and actually found equipment inside and outside the house. Among the artifacts were a gray LG washing machine, a cylinder, a fan, an antenna with a decoder, a remote control and parts of a computer.
The victim
A citizen approached the police commission indicating that she was the victim of theft at the time she was visiting her relatives and that the evidence found in said home belonged to her.
While the 25-year-old defendant indicated that her partner -in the company of other subjects- left all those items at her house. She was arrested and transferred to the Police Coordination Center (CCP) Caura. The citizen indicated that she was eight months pregnant.
Investigations into the case are still ongoing.
