2023-11-08 04:05:00

The eighth edition of the Art à Mons fair began this Friday, November 3, with an opening which attracted a large crowd to the Valat de Sicard multipurpose room. Among the guests welcomed by Mayor Gérard Banquet, were present the sub-prefect Émile Soumbo, Valérie Meunier and Philippe Ribot, departmental advisors, the assistant for culture of Salindres Lysiane Guy, the future doctor of the commune Philippe Charrat. Gérard Banquet specified that the event was the result of an effective partnership between the municipality and the Art à Mons association represented by Frédéric Bort. Together, the municipality and the association aim to create an artistic and cultural event accessible to all, while promoting exchanges between artists and visitors. The youngest found a privileged time for exchanges, because the different classes of the school group were able to meet the artists at the show on Monday, November 6. After thanking all the people who made this important cultural event possible, the mayor invited visitors to discover the artists and works on display.
