Art stories with Laurence

Lawrence (30 years old), independent curator, founder of the Laurence and Friends project in Geneva: “I have a very personal relationship with the clothes I wear. I won’t tell you what to love next season, but why this or that piece tells a story. Each outfit makes me think of a character or an attitude to adopt and I like the idea of using them as disguises. So every day I play a different scenario, embodied by what I wear. Generally, these characters are colorful, full of patterns and frills. I like to imagine them whimsical with a pronounced taste for life and its stories. Getting dressed is a real pleasure every day! I love antiquing: what you find second-hand is full of a mysterious past that needs to be reinvented.»
