Well finally! They have known each other for ten years, they have been married since 2020, but the church ceremony will now take place on September 2nd in the Hütteldorf parish of Mariabrunn: the Austrian-Swiss theater and cabaret couple Gabriela Benesch and Eric Furrer had to postpone God’s blessing twice – the pandemic has not yet been defeated, but apparently the fear of it.
So it is after the wedding ceremony with the singing Filipino pastor Marcelo a big party was planned in Vienna’s magnificent palace Schönburg.
Gabriela made a surprise film for Erich while the girls were rumbling about in the Prater: “I had to deal with some absurd tasks. More will not be revealed.”
From mid-September the Austrian tour will start with “Julia & Romeo” (Furrer with Caro Athanasiadis, director: Benesch), from October 120 stops with the “Udo Jürgens-Story” (with the magnificent Alex Parker).
