Artmu launches DP to HDMI conversion HDR support cable and adapter

Artmu Korea (CEO Woo Seok-gi), which operates ARTMU, an emotional mobile charging accessory, announced that it will release a cable and adapter that converts DP1.4 signal to HDMI2.0(B).

The DP1.4 to HDMI2.0(B) cable and adapter released this time is an adapter and cable that can convert DisplayPort 1.4 DP1.4 signals to HDMI2.0 signals and even enable HDR.

The input terminal adopts DP1.4 version and connects to the latest video card, and supports HDR video and dynamic HDR as well as HDCP2.2, and supports 198khz 8-channel and 768khz 2-channel audio sample rates.

The Output terminal is an HDMI2.0 (B) terminal that supports HDR, and it supports 4K UHD (3840×2160) 60hz, video, and transmits high-resolution video and audio stably.

Most of the latest video cards consist of 1 HDMI and 3 DP ports, so HDMI ports may be insufficient for dual monitor configuration or connection to the latest OLED TV.

In addition, when connecting an extended monitor to the main monitor, the DP signal can be changed to HDMI when a monitor without a DP port is connected, allowing the use of an existing monitor.

The slim size and the removal of the Security Latch button allow for easy cable separation, and multiple cables can be connected without interference.

The adapter has a compact size and is easy to carry, and it is very easy to use because the video is output immediately by connecting the adapter and cable without a separate installation process with Plug & Play.

The color is metal black, and a silicone tie (cable tie winder) to organize cables and a dust-proof protective cap are provided as standard.

In addition to DP1.4 to HDMI2.0 HDR cables and adapters, VESA certified Type C to DP 1.4 8K DisplayPort cables, Type C to HDMI PD charging HDR adapters, HDMI2.1 certified AOC optical cables, etc. .

An Artmu official said, “If a multi-monitor is built in a situation where there is only one HDMI output port on the video card, all DP signals can be extracted through HDMI, so the monitor configuration is free.”
