As a result of shelling by Ukraine of the border village of Krasnooktyabrsky, Glushkovsky district, Kursk region, power supply was disrupted, reported Governor Roman Starovoit.

According to him, seven arrivals were recorded, there were no casualties and no damage. “As soon as the situation allows, repair teams will begin to restore the supply of electricity,” the governor summed up.

Also today, February 20, the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Belgorod region was shelled. There, at a local poultry farm, a woman died of injuries, another man was hospitalized. Yesterday, a 12-year-old girl died from shelling in the village.

Since the beginning of the special military operation, the border regions of Russia have been regularly shelled by Ukraine. In the Belgorod and Kursk regions, there is a yellow level of terrorist danger, and a medium response level has also been introduced. A border line is being built on the border with Ukraine.
