Hours before the start of counting the votes of the members of the Representative Professions Syndicate, which was scheduled in Egypt on Friday, a trained lion sparked great controversy after attending the events.

The coach of the lions, Luba El-Helou, was keen to support the Artists Syndicate, Dr. Ashraf Zaki, in the current acting profession elections, which end at 5 pm today.

So she came to the elections, accompanied by a lion whom she was training.

After a short period of time, pictures of the predator with the artists spread through social networking sites, causing great confusion about the behavior of the trainer.

Divided opinions

Some of them affirmed that it is inappropriate and reaches the stage of danger, because the animal is an unreasonable being, and it is possible that unbearable consequences may happen if it suddenly became violent and its trainer was unable to control it.

While others saw that it was a normal behavior, and that the presence of the animal in the activities added an atmosphere of fun.

Many artists took pictures with the cub, which spread across platforms during the past hours.
