After the death of the Egyptian young man, Muhammad al-Mawy, who was attacked more than a month ago by a fierce dog belonging to an Egyptian broadcaster named Amira Shanab, the Syrian singer Asala Nasri expressed her indignation at what happened.

She criticized the presenter, describing her as a “strange creature.”

In a tweet on her Twitter account, she commented on that tragedy, writing yesterday evening: “Honestly, what is this person who brought a fierce and stupid dog to her house and might harm people?”

She also added, wondering: “What is this strange creature, by God, this is the height of the forbidden and the harm to humanity.”

In addition, I considered that this tragedy should be a lesson for everyone, especially for some people who keep ferocious animals just for the purpose of showing off.

The young man, who died yesterday, was seriously injured last March following he was attacked by the announcer’s dog of the Pitbull species, and he was taken to hospital for treatment, but he fell into a coma.

While the Public Prosecution ordered the imprisonment of Shanab’s husband, accusing him of negligence, and leaving the dog unrestricted or muzzled, especially following investigations showed that the ferocious animal was constantly attacking the neighbors following jumping from the top of the garden wall.
