A late summer evening in Reykjavik at Harpa, the wonderful all-glass concert hall in the Icelandic capital. All the places were snapped up in a few hours for the event, and thousands of them dressed in their best shape to come and see Asgeir. The singer, originally from the north of the country, has just turned 30, but it’s been ten years – since a first electro-folk album with bewitching melodies – that he has won over local and international crowds for a success that is still just as stunning.
