After 9 years away from acting, the singer and influencer Vesta Fringe will resume her days as an actress thanks to the new series “Champions”whose premiere is set for this second semester in a season yet to be defined.
In production, directed by Sandra Arriagadathe Chilean will share roles with Lorena Capetillo, Koke Santa Ana and Yashira Zomosaamong others.
“It is a series that talks about women’s soccer, about the difficulties that athletes experience because of their genderdue to the different social strata in which they are born, the opportunities that exist for different women in different spaces and the importance of generating visibility to the difficulties of this sport in Chile”, Lugg told the newspaper The latest news.
In his opinion, it is “an emotional story, told in a very oriental way, anime type,” he added about the production, which in turn defines itself as a “family fantasy/comedy”.
In the story, Vesta will be the antagonist of the character played by Lorena Capetillo. “Lore Capetillo is the captain of the main team and I am the captain of the antagonistic team”he explained.
As a complement to her preparation, the singer asked the footballer for advice Paul Galdameson pareja, steering wheel of the Unione Sportiva Cremonese of the Serie A of Italian football. “When I found out that I was in with the character, I called him immediately and we read the scripts together”said.
“We prepared certain movements and raised some scenarios that could go through the head of the player. I have been living in football for four years. I know a lot of the terms, I understand what can and cannot be done. I consider myself a person who currently knows football. I can talk about teams and understand where I stand in a conversation,” she commented.
