According to information, the parents claimed that when their 3-year-old child was playing in the yard and when the tragic incident happened, they were inside the house. As soon as they heard the loud noise they came out and saw the little boy injured. Then the father took it to the hospital.
As described by Thriasios’ surgeon in his testimony, the child was taken to the hospital unconscious and not breathing.
“This is a tragic incident, for which my principals have been charged with fatal exposure. However, during their apology, which was made in a charged atmosphere, they gave all the necessary explanations claiming that they had shown extreme diligence and were released, without restrictive conditions being imposed on them,” emphasizes the parents’ defense attorney, Panagiotis Mariolis.
