ASRock Announces AMD and Intel WiFi 6E Kits

ASRock is behind two new kits to add Wi-Fi 6E to some of its motherboards. The bundle includes everything needed for a quick and easy installation.

In both cases we find the Wi-Fi card, the screws, the wiring and the antennas. At Intel we have a CNVio2 format card that only supports the 600 series platform. For the AMD kit, the format is more classic allowing wider compatibility. We have an M.2 2230 card in Key-E. The number 2230 represents its dimensions, 22 mm wide once morest 30 mm long.

We do not have precise information concerning the controllers used. A Realtek solution on the AMD side is probable once morest AX211 or AX411 at Intel…to be checked. In both cases Wi-Fi 6E comes with support for Bluetooth 5.1.
